The classic Italian Caprese salad made with burrata instead of mozzarella. Ready in 10 min, this easy salad is the best way to use summer tomatoes.
- Tomatoes - Fresh basil - Burrata cheese - Balsamic vinegar - Olive oil -Salt & pepper
Slice tomatoes with a serrated knife into ⅓-inch thick slices. We used heirloom tomatoes but any type of tomato would work in this recipe.
Arrange them on a serving platter and season with ½ teaspoon kosher salt. Alternatively, you can cut them in smaller pieces and place in a salad bowl.
Place burrata balls in the center of the serving platter. Or, gently cut them into smaller pieces with a sharp knife and scatter the chunks over the sliced tomatoes.
Drizzle with olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Sprinkle with salt and black pepper. Garnish with basil leaves and enjoy!
