A 30 minute grilled shrimp recipe that can be prepared on a gas or charcoal grill, or indoors on a grill pan. Serve them on top of salads, shrimp tacos, or bowls.
- Lemon zest - Red pepper flakes - Honey - Kosher salt - Olive oil - Parsley - Lemon juice - Garlic - Raw shrimp
If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for at least 20 minutes. If you are using metal skewers, you can skip this step.
Place all the marinade ingredients in a bowl and give it a stir to combine. Toss shrimp with the marinade, cover with stretch film, and marinade for 30 min.
Thread shrimp on skewers starting from the thickest part of the shrimp and arranging 5-6 shrimp per skewer. Place on a plate and set aside.
If you are using a gas or charcoal grill, grill shrimp skewers on direct heat for 2-3 minutes or as soon as it turns pink along the edges and then flip over and cook for another 2 minutes.
* Use extra large or large shrimp for best results.
