Wild Rice Stuffing Recipe

Saute the aromatics

Place vegetable oil in a saucepan. Add in the onion, celery, salt and pepper and saute until softened, 5-7 minutes. Stir in garlic and cook for 30 seconds.

Sautee apples

Remove the onions and set aside. In the same pan, heat a tablespoon of butter over medium heat and add the cubed apples and sauté.

Combine everything  in a bowl

Combine the cooked apples and wild rice blend in the large bowl and add all the rest of the ingredients. Give it a toss.

Transfer to a  baking dish

Transfer the wild rice and veggie mixture to a prepared oven proof casserole dish and warm in the preheated 325 F. oven for 20-25 minutes.

Garnish it with a handful of pomegranate arils for a pop of color and some additional sweetness and serve right away.
