How Long Does Chicken Salad Last In The Fridge? It should last in the fridge for 3-5 days if stored properly in an airtight container.
Can You Freeze Chicken Salad? Is It Safe? This is an interesting challenge and one I am still testing out in my kitchen. I have read a number of articles that say you can freeze chicken salad and still keep its integrity. However, after doing some research and actually freezing some in my own freezer, I know that Greek yogurt has the tendency to separate in the freezer. Plus, there is the added risk of bacteria build-up if kept out on the counter for longer than 2 hours. Therefore, in my opinion, I think it’s best to enjoy this chicken salad the week it is made.
