**15-Min Breakfast**
This Homemade Apple Cinnamon Oatmeal is a fall-inspired twist on plain oatmeal. Oats, apples, and cinnamon, simmered in milk with a touch of maple syrup.
- Fresh apples - Almond milk - Coconut oil - Nutmeg - Pecans - Chia seeds - Maple syrup - Rolles oats - Cinnamon
Heat coconut oil in a small saucepan over medium-high heat. Add apples, cinnamon and nutmeg and saute until apples are softened 5 minutes or so.
Add the nuts, rolled oats, milk, and chia seeds (if using). Stir to combine and cook, keeping a close eye on it and stirring occasionally until thickened for 8-10 minutes.
Ladle into bowls, and garnish with fresh diced apples (or other fruits like pomegranate seeds), more nuts, and a drizzle of maple syrup.
