Ingredients for  Baked Bone-in Chicken Breasts

- Olive oil - Kosher salt - Black pepper - Chicken Breasts

Place the chicken (skin side up) on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Pat dry both sides of the chicken breasts with paper towels.

Season

Coat the entire surface with olive oil (or avocado oil) and season both sides with salt and pepper.

Be sure to season the back side to ensure that your chicken is seasoned properly before baking in the oven.

Roast chicken breasts in a preheated oven until it reaches 165 degrees when a thermometer is inserted in the thickest part of the chicken.

Let It Rest

As soon as it comes out of the oven, cover it with aluminum foil and let it rest for 5-8 minutes. Serve the whole chicken breast as is or slice, dice, or shred as desired.
