Grilled Mahi Mahi

Learn how to cook mahi mahi on the grill perfectly. With this foolproof recipe, No more fish sticking to grill grates, falling apart, or tasting bland.

Ingredients for  Grilled Mahi Mahi

- Paprika - Lime zest - Garlic - Honey - Mahi mahi fillets - Olive oil - Salt & pepper

Make The Marinade

Whisk together olive oil, garlic, lime zest, lime juice, honey, paprika, salt, and pepper in a bowl large enough to accommodate all the mahi mahi fillets

Dry The Fish

Remove mahi mahi from its packaging (or defrost if using frozen) and pat dry using paper towels before placing in the marinade.

Marinade Fish

Place mahi mahi fillets in the marinade, cover tightly with stretch film and let it sit in the fridge for up to 30 minutes.

Oil The Grill Grates

Turn all burners on medium-high, cover, and heat the grill until it reaches 450 F. Dip a wad of paper towel into olive oil and then generously wipe the grates.

Grill Mahi Mahi

Place mahi mahi on grill. Cook, covered for 4-5 minutes until browned on that side. Gently flip mahi mahi and continue to cook until flesh flakes apart.

Garnish & Serve

Transfer grilled mahi-mahi fillets onto a large platter. Garnish with your favorite fruit salsa (I used my peach salsa) and serve while still hot.
