OLIVE BREAD RECIPE

Made with 5 ingredients with minimal hands on time. Plus, the recipe includes variations to make it your own.

Step 1

Place bread flour, yeast, and salt in a large mixing bowl. Give it a mix to make sure they are mixed.

Step 2

Pour in lukewarm water. Using a wooden spoon, stir until just mixed.

Step 3

Add in chopped kalamata olives and stir them into the dough. Mix just until distributed in the dough.

Step 4

Cover with a kitchen towel and let it sit overnight.

Step 5

Spread a piece of parchment with flour and bring in the rested olive bread dough.

Step 6

Fold the dough gently onto itself and let it rise one more time on the parchement paper.

Step 7

Preheat the oven to 450 F with the Dutch oven inside. Place the dough into the hot pot and bake in the oven.

Step 8

As soon as it is baked, remove the olive loaf from the Dutch oven and let it cool on a wire rack for 30 min to an hour.
