Slow Cooker Steel Cut Oats

A creamy, chewy, and healthy steel cut oatmeal made in the crockpot in two different way with only 5 min. hands on time.

Ingredients You'll Need

- Milk and/or water - Steel cut oats - Your sweetener of choice (fruit, honey or maple syrup) & toppings

Choose Your Vessel

Select a heat-resistant bowl, mason jar, or small casserole dish that will fit in your slow cooker. Place steel cut oats in it.

Mix Ingredients

Mix the steel cut oats, water, almond milk, mashed banana (or your choice of sweetener), and salt inside the selected vessel.

Create a "Water Bath"

Place your oat-filled dish inside your crockpot, and fill the insert halfway through with water.

Slow Cook

Put on the lid and cook the steel cut oats in the crockpot for four hours in a low-heat setting.

Serve or Store for Later
