Almond Flour Chocolate Cake

Here is a gluten-free cake is made with only 7-ingredients and sweetened with maple syrup. Serve it as a one layer or two layer cake for any occasion.

Ingredients

-Vanilla extract - Large eggs  - Unsweetened cocoa powder - Baking soda - Almond flour - Maple syrup - Coconut Oil - Kosher salt

Dry Ingredients

Mix the dry ingredients; almond flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt in a bowl. Set it aside.

Add Wet Ingredients

Pour the wet ingredients (eggs, maple syrup and vanilla extract) into the dry ingredients.

Whisk Batter

Whisk until the batter is throughly mixed with no large clumps of almond flour remaining.

Pour Batter

Pour the batter into the greased pan. Bake for 35-40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean.

Serve it by itself or spread it with chocolate frosting to turn it into a delicious and more chocolate-y cake.
